Alex Heffron is an accomplished jazz guitarist based in Brooklyn, NY. His impressive resume includes performances with acclaimed artists Big Gigantic, Veronica Swift, Ernie Watts, The Colorado Symphony, Adam Deitch, Remy Le Boeuf, Kenwood Dennard, John Reilly, Matt Wilson, and many others. He has also performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.
 

As an active composer, Alex leads his own band that seamlessly blends traditional and contemporary jazz styles, with his music featured on stages nationwide and at prominent festivals. He has released 2 albums under his name, “Looking Out” and “Avoidance” Alex was selected as one of 89.3 KUVO's 30 musicians under 30 initiative and was KUVO’s artist of the month in December 2019. With over a decade of experience, Alex remains dedicated to refining his unique voice in jazz guitar while drawing inspiration from the rich tradition of jazz and other musical genres. He holds a degree in Jazz Guitar from the University of Colorado Boulder.
